These terms are between you and Lucky Dog ("we"), the maker of the Lucky Dog desktop app. By installing or using the app you agree to them.
Using Lucky Dog
You may use Lucky Dog free of charge. Without a licence the app shows a reminder to buy one from time to time. We may change what the free version includes in later versions.
Your licence
- A licence covers one major version of Lucky Dog - for example every 1.x release; the 0.x releases count as version 1. A later major version is a new purchase.
- It is personal: for you, on up to 3 computers you use. It does not expire for the version it covers.
- You may not share, resell or publish your licence, or work around the licence check.
- We may withdraw a licence that was refunded, charged back, obtained by fraud or shared publicly. A withdrawn licence stops working once the app next checks the list of withdrawn licences.
- Refunds are covered by the Refund Policy.
Not investment advice
Lucky Dog is a tool for keeping your own records and plans. Nothing in the app or on this website - prices, valuations, buy and sell lines, alerts, screeners, reports or anything the AI assistant writes - is investment, financial, tax or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell anything.
Market data comes from third parties and may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Alerts may arrive late or not at all. AI output can be mistaken. Check anything important yourself. Investing carries risk, including the loss of your money, and every decision you make is your own.
Third-party services and keys
Data sources, exchanges and AI providers you connect are run by others, under their own terms, and may change or stop working. Exchange keys you add should be read-only. You are responsible for the keys and accounts you connect and for what they cost you.
Your data
Your data is stored on your computer, and keeping backups is up to you. See the Privacy Policy for what we collect.
No warranty
Lucky Dog is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't promise that it is free of errors or always available.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including trading or investment losses, lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for anything to do with Lucky Dog is limited to what you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim.
Your rights under law
Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the mandatory law of the country you live in.
Changes
We may update these terms; the new version is posted here with a new date. Using the app after a change means you accept it. Questions: hi@luckydog.money.
